Transitional
Housing Center
Beryls Resource Center provides
individuals with the opportunity to reside in a comfortable, well
managed and secure transitional housing facility where a balanced
diet, limited medical attention, personal care services, job facility
and placement, and comprehensive social services are provided on-site.
In partnership with affiliate
agencies, Beryls Transition will receive referrals for consideration
of enrollment into the Center’s Transitional Housing Program. Beryls’
Transition utilizes strict acceptance criteria in order to maintain a
resident population that lives well together. Selection into the
program is base on an applicant's desire to move toward
self-sufficiency. Once enrolled in the program, participants undergo
extensive assessment, and are provided a wide range of services
designed to move the individuals from dependency to
self-actualization. Most essential services will be provided on-site
by agencies who are recognized for their expertise.
Paradigm Transition:
A learning lab with high tech
equipment will provide assessment, an ABE & GED program,
self-esteem building, life skills training, vocational training
referrals, etc.
A neighborhood Employment Center to be
located in close locality will provide participants with job
opportunity to help break the chain of homelessness. Employment skills
training, job placement and business opportunities for program
participants will be based on the identified needs of local
